Work only takes me to HK and CP... But I see a lot of reports for Macau here too....

Is there much difference in terms of punting experience between the two places? I don't gamble... So i dunno if it's worth a special trip there next time I'm in asia.... ?

I go to Macau for Texas Hold'em and Saunas, not for anything else. I do not go to CP Saunas (or been there only once), rather go to KTVs.
CP is much more personal, and if you like a girl you can ask her out post-coitus and hang out with her. Macau is a relatively slam, bang thank you ma'am experience.

Well, it depends how well you speak Mandarin or Canto. If you are conversant (especially Mandarin), you'll definitely like it much more in China. But if you can't speak the language, then stick to Macau.

When and by the time a girl gets to Macau, she has been a seasoned pro. She has been around and was recruited into Macau. Most are a little older than the average girl in CP. It takes a lot money to get a girl into Macau, from transportation cost, to visa fees and housing.

While CP has less seasoned pros. The majority are far less experienced. Majority in CP are only in business a short time. A short time is around 6-8 months.  After 6-8 months you don't see the same goirl working.

To add one to bro Weelock's post. The good thing about them being seasoned pros is that they really know how to sex you. i've pretty much enjoyed every single on of my punts in Macau saunas cos the girls just know how to work it.

I suppose other bros enjoy the freshness factor, so in that case, CP is the slam dunk place to be. It's also cheaper there too as compared to macau.

Actually BBS in Macau is as cheap or sometimes cheaper than in CP!

What are the price differences?  I am finding the prices in Macua is getting close to being too high for the effort involved in going over there....

While I can't really compare with CP since I have little experience there, I have found in Macau, the KTV girls are very businesslike whereas I've had 5 sauna girls give me their cellphone numbers to go on dates, drinking without me even asking for their number.  Perhaps it's the conversation during the massage or they are really bored out of their minds or I am just damn lucky or something but I have never managed to get a KTV girl's number even if I tried while she was on an overnighter.

With all the stuff to see in CP (tombs, great wall not far) and the combination of girl talent, is there an overflow of full service tour guides advertising in the city?

CP is no where near tombs or great wall??? But yes there are many tour guides. Mainly golf, hotels, transport, and of course KTV, Sauna etc. Never heard of going to places like ZMT or Guan Yin Mountain

When you say BBS in Macau, are you referring to the pensions or cheap hotels where the girls hang out in the lobbies?

In general Macau is MUCH higher class experience. The ferries are excellent and clean. The food is world class. Hotels are 5 star+. The city is a tourist destination, is clean, orderly, and pleasure to walk through. You definitely feel higher class and are treated as such.

CP, as a city, is a quite depressing 3rd or 4th tier city. It is dirty, smoggy, lots of shady cab drivers, harder for non-chinese speaker, less safe feeling (though in actuality it is quite safe.). Generally speaking, I do not like to the town at all. Being there for WG's makes me feel more like a "degenerate." The place is alot more "wild-west" feeling.

Girls wise: CP the girls are 18-22. The girls in CP are more "country bumpkin" in terms of their dress, make-up, demeanor. Their skin is less smooth, nails are not as done up, etc.Their naivete is plus and minus. They are very "fresh" but lack skill. I would say the max I've had in CP is 8/10 looks wise. The model categories are mainly just tall, sometimes big and tall. That being said some of the spinners are so fresh their LS slit are literally less than inch. I have not met any model types from Dongbei in CP (though I imagine there must be).

The girls in Macao are 22-26 and are alot more conscientious about their appearance and are overall better looking. There are quite alot of 9-9.5/10s and many of the "models" could actually be Models. The girls in general have more spark or "X-factor". Because they are slightly older they have better skill, but some are bit jaded. Many of them seem like they used to be the younger hot KTV girl, but now they need to make money faster while they still have their looks. Regardless the HOT ones are really HOT.

Obviously cost of non-FS things (hotel, food, ktv room, etc) are much cheaper in CP, but they are of significantly lower quality. It's nice in some ways, you can really be relaxed and do whatever. To each his own about this...

The cost of the FS is where it gets interesting. I'm mainly interested in model category so I will use them as a comparison:

CP - Priced in RMB

Saunas (Eurasia, Yihao, HuiHua (korean) etc) - 800 to 1000rmb (Room fees included, no public bath, sauna, lounge) - 2 pops
KTV - 1000/1500rmb (Yihao), 1500/2000rmb (Eurasia)

Macao - Priced in HKD (-20% for RMB)

Saunas (D1, 18, East, etc) - 1900 to 2300hkd (Includes lounge, food, bath, shows, etc) - 1 pop
KTV - 1500-1700 ST; 2000-2500LT

As you can see, prices for FS is Macao is not that much more expensive once you factor in the HKD > RMB exchange rates. For the extra, in Macao you can expect the girls to be 0.5-1.0 point higher in the 1-10 scale of looks, etc. I've walked out of quite a few saunas in CP when they didn't have any I liked. The number of doable girls in Macao is MUCH higher. Though CP has a higher number of girls in total (KTV flower street). KTV-wise, the room is much cheaper in CP, but if you split it among a couple of guys the price is manageable in Macau. Plus in macao you can opt for package deals.

On the cheap end though, CP is definitely cheaper. However, the thing I don't like about CP most is the rush. For example:

3:30 - 4pm is when the sauna line-ups are the best in CP. So you go in and find one, do a 2 hour session, and finish around 6pm. If you don't find one you won't have enough time to got another sauna before flower streets start at KTV. If you do find one, then you have to rush to get the KTV afterwards, (which by 6pm is getting late if you have to cross town, etc). If you dont pick immediately at the KTV or don't find one you like then you are kind of stuck. If you go back to the sauna, the good ones are picked and will not be free for 2 hours. If you aren't smart about your time and you're picky about the girl, you could be stuck with no action! I find that CP is somewhere where you really have to plan your time.

Overall, if budget allows, I would recommend Macao. Or better yet, if you have a few days in HK as your base, you can do both. I like to do afternoon/night trips to Macau if I'm busy in HK then take the train from HK > CP for a day or two when I'm not. Both are just 1 hour train/ferry rides.

SHLW sums it up pretty well.

I'd recommend Macau over CP for Sauna:
* The saunas are all within walking distance. No phoning ahead, just walk in and pick your girls.
* The setup and facilities within the saunas are generally well better than those in CP.

I'd recommend CP over Macau for KTV:
* The cost for a KTV girl in Macau is much much higher. You are not charged a flat sitting fee like those in CP.
* For the use of karaoke in Macau, you have to pay extra
* You can't bloody chilling out all night at the Macau KTV without paying lots.
