This is rare, I must admit, but it happens....

I met a couple hotties in Bar 109 one a Sunday a few weeks ago.  I had seen them around a few times but never really got to know them until now.  We had fun getting to know each other and I join them in their room.  Yep - one is a resident so has a flat nearby.  Cool - so much nicer than a love-hotel.  They asked for payment first, mind you, which is somewhat odd and rare - but I'm in a relaxed mood and like the vibe so far so I pay up.  We spent quite some together and it was a blast.  No complaints of any kind.

I leave and hit the elevator down.  I head to 7/11 to buy some smokes and that's when I realized my wallet was empty except for a few small bills.  Damn!  I KNOW I had $2500HK in their as I had hit the ATM just before entering 109.  I KNOW it was them and even how --- While one of the gals was doing 69 with me (her on top so my face is completely buried) the other went thru my wallet.  

Back up I go....  Knock on the door:

"Girls, give me my money back"  (the door is thin and tiny - sound travels thru easily.  Hell, I could have smashed it down in 10 seconds.)

Silence.

"Girls, dont be stupid about this...."

Silence.

"Girls, I know where you live, your names...., I know your phone numbers, I got pics of you on my phone, remember?  I know Sasa is on a toursit visa that has expired, I know the bar-managers in most of the joints you go to...    do you realize how easily I can fuck up your lives?  You did a really dumb thing here.., but I'm giving you a chnace to make it right"

Silence.

"Okay... I wont call the police just yet.  Good luck getting into a bar tonite.  SMS me tmrw when you change your mind".

These girls were fucking stupid.  I hit three bars that I know they go to...  I talk to the manager and tell them point blank:  "Take my word for it or not, but if I ever see these girls in this bar again I'll never be back".  If you follow my exploits you know that I spend A LOT in the bars and also buy LOTS of drinks for the barstaff.  I am a well known and prefered customer, to be sure.

The next morning I wake to find a bunch of sms's on my phone.

"Hey, why you get us banned?  We do nothing wrong!!"

"Wander, every place dont like us --- we innocent.  You make mistake"

"Wander pls.., you affect our families!!!  We cannot earn anywhere"

and then finally....

"Yes.., we know did wrong.  Sorry.  Just need money so bad.  Can we meet?"

and a few more after that basically pleading for forgivness and to ask to meet to give my cash back.

I sms them...  meet me at 109 at 4pm.  (the place will be quiet at that time, and I know the staff will back me up if anything weird happens. A good location for me to stay discrete but safe if they choose to try something).

We meet.  They are sheepish.  Hand me my cash (less about 300 which they had already spent).  

"What were you thinking?"  You did this in your own home, to a guy who knows your contact details, names....  WTF?"

"We just really need some money...  couldnt pay rent or eat... cant send money home...."

"You realize how lucky you are???  "A different guy might have bashed in that door and beat the fuck out of you two.  A different guy might have just called the cops - you would be in jail right now then deported for Visa violations!"

"Sorry, sorry... blaa, blaaa".

"Will you ask bars to let us back in?"

"No, you'll just rip off some other innocent guy."  

"But we gave your money back".

"Yes, and that will keep me from calling the police...."

"But we need to earn!"

"Well, this is your problem....   listen, I only spoke to 3 bars.  There are lots more.  You'll have to find new ones.  But DONT do this shit again!!".   

And then, just before I was about to go they asked the most astonishing question...

"Can we see you again?"  

Haha!!  Are you kidding?

An interesting ordeal...  Could have been worse I suppose, but strange....  What a dumb, dumb, dumb couple of girls!

Anyway, I am writing this now because I just saw them yesterday.  I am at lunch in WC and I see them walking down the street.  They see me.  Hesitate, discuss and chatter together, then look at me asking if it was okay to come over..."  I nod and wave them over.

"You girls okay?"

"Yeah..., not perfect, but not so bad".  They are still very sheepish.

"Relax...., I cant hold a grudge for long..., I have forgiven you.., you want something to eat?".  The tension is gone.  We eat and chat.  They tell me they've "never been bad-bad again".  I tended to believe them but I have no idea...  It was a nice lunch, actually.

"You want to get back into NeptuneII?"

"Yes, that is our favorite bar"

"I know..., meet me there at 10pm tonite.  I'll bring you in."

And I did.  We meet, walk in, I see the manager and tell him all is good and thank him for his support.  "The girls would love to hang out here again, which is fine by me if it is fine by you...".  He shrugs and nods and off he goes.  (WG girls are his revenue stream - no girls means no guys and no lady-drinks - he doesnt like losing any).

The gals kiss me goodbye and off I go...

Haha.... No, not the big boss - a girl gets banned very quickly, actually, if she is known to cause problems.  I've seen it a lot.  The bars are just on the wrong-side of being legal, so they want to keep their reputations as clean as they possibly  can.  And -- I am  a VERY good customer of these 3 places for 4 years now.  They trusted me that I wasn't lying....

Wow they are really dumb and unlucky they fell on you given you know the bar managers (well nt totally as you didnt call the cops).
I try never to leave my wallet out of eye sight though,!

Pretty clever/Ballsy ruse: have one girl straddle a guy's face while the other picks through his pockets.  What if the guy pulls off at any moment (horny and wants to bang the girl, or grossed out 'cause the girl just farted in his face )?

In any event, they're probably counting on the drunk/embarrassment factor to keep the guys from coming back.

You did handle the thing with diplomacy and grace though.  Good thing these two weren't the roofie-slipping-in-the-drink type!

Glad you got it all sorted, always a worry, but as I am usually using my hotel room, I can safely put all the valuables in the safe. That said never felt like a WG was going to try to rob me.
Just curious to how much the deed was for a 3P with these girls, given you had 2500HKD.
Last time I pulled a 3P with a couple of girls in Escape I think it cost me 2000HKD for ST.

Yeah, with a really drunk punter I could see this working.... he sees the money's gone but not certain exactly when/what happened...  

But to do it in your own flat???  That was just beyond stupid!  Had they done this in a love hotel - and vacated 60 seconds after I left, it would have worked.  (course I still had their pics, names, and mobile - so my bar-banning pressure would still have worked...).

Frankly, I never had any intention of going to the police  - just too risky to get them involved and then worry about calls from them for a follow-up that might make my SO become aware of it.  I've had to get the police involved once in an wan chai episode and it was nerve-wracking as hell....  Still, the girls didnt know this so the threat is still valid.

Keep doing so when mongering in Wan Chai. A lot of hidden money traps there. The curtain rip-off bars, mercenary wq's from africa, china and elsewhere looking to make ends meet. If they see an opportunity they will take it. I only bring the amount if cash I am willing to spend when going for a night out in wan chai, I do not wear a watch and carry no credit cards. It is easy to get sucked in to the party atmosphere and get hammered and then you will become a walking victim.

A buddy of mine visiting from overseas had his room cleaned out a couple of weeks ago. Picked up a chick from Neptune II and brought back to his hotel. Said she was from Durban, SA(probably Nigeria). He fell asleep after their ml and when he woke up she was gone as well as two macbook air's, iphone 4, cash, ipad 2 and a rolex deep sea sea dweller. He is still wondering how she could get out of the hotel with all his stuff and also why he did not wake up, she bought a small bottle of wine at 7/11 that she shared with him. He fears she might have slipped something into his drink.

Pretty much the perfect crime. His flight was the same day so no time to start pursuing it. Wife at home and does not want any attention.

No, he did not put anything in the safe. He is an experienced monger that have been living in Bkk for a long time, but has never been robbed.

Thing is that I've told him stories about wan chai. It did not register in his mind though.....

I've spent a TON of time in WanChai over the years and it is, for the most part, a safe scene.  This is Hong Kong, after all --- the safest city I've ever been.  99.9% of the girls just want a simple easy transaction, get paid, and not get hurt or roughed up or busted by the cops.  They stay clear of drugs, and clear of trouble -- as do most of the bars.  It is a great, safe spot to monger.

But --- there is always that .1%!  The most likely way to get robbed is the easiest to avoid.  You take a gal for overnite and fall asleep with her.  You wake and all is gone.  But the safe stops 90% of the risk - your wallet, passport all fit easily and many are big enough for the average laptop too.  It is almost always avoidable...

The second is the shower during an ST.  She goes thru your wallet as you clean up.  This can happen in a love hotel easily enough and no safe is present...  Just be mindful.....  I once had a gal who I thought was doing exactly that --- I caught her via the mirror in the bathroom as I showered --- I had a good view, she didn't notice me, hmmm "what's she doing with my pants??". And then I watched her carefully hang them up, fetch my shirt and press the creases and hang it up too, then collect my socks and shoes and place them neatly nearbye.  No cash vanished, she never touched my wallet or intended to -- she was tidying up for me.  Sweet.  (That was my first nite with Chalisa - a thai gal.  There are NO GALS like Thai gals when it comes to taking care of you!!  I saw her many, many times after that nite).

I agree and I've never been robbed by a wg. Spent tons of money on girlie drinks and gotten hammered plenty of times in wc. Never worried about getting mugged or in a fight that could easily happen in the west in a similar sized city.

Only problem I've had was at one of the curtain bars. I knew they were rip-off joints at the time but got lured in when too drunk at like 5am in the morning. I actually ordered a coffee and she led me to the "vip" area where some really hot filipinos started working on me. I have no idea how it happened but after awhile mama came with a credit card bill and I had not even given them my wallet, one of the chicks must have taken it from my pocket!! Ridiculous amount of 12 000hkd and she showed a whole tray of shots she said I ordered. I was in a haze and tried to argue and that is when a couple of guys appeared forcing me to sign. For some reason I cannot remember they wanted to follow me to the ATM. But in the street I figured I had it and told them to get lost. It got verbal and then a scuffle and I ran across the road and they did not follow. Nasty experience.

Also, when I checked my card the next day it was maxed out. They'd probably swiped it a couple of time and had plenty of time to forge my signature.

After that I figured it is better to leave the valuables at home.....

My guess is that had my buddy gone home with an asian wg his stuff might have been there the next day. Prejudice?

Unfortunately more than 12k as they maxed my card, 40k limit. I only saw the 12k bill, for the other bills the forged my signature.

I have been ripped off in these bars before (outragous drink prices and too many added to the bill) - but never with such outright criminality or with thugs "forcing" me to sign anything...  Sounds like some of those Eastern Europe bars..... Never heard of these extremes in HK.  Was this recent??  Which bar?

It sure was brutal, worst hangover in my life. I had only heard about the places being exactly what you say, a tourist trap. But yea it got nasty and like you say something you can imagine happen in eastern europe. I was completely shitfaced so they probably counted their odds and figured I would be the big fish that night and that they would get away with it.

It was two years ago roughly. I cannot remember which bar it was, pretty sure I was on the opposite side of old china hand, completely toasted. Bill said Waikiki something.

Sobered up pretty quick when the tough guys appeared though.

Yeah - never heard of this in Hong Kong. Lots in China, but never in Hong Kong.

So hkman - did you challenge the charges with your CC company? They're very good at this - especially when its out and out forged signature...which I know results in at least the Establishment's signing privileges being taken away or even them being reported to the Police; thus the reason why such things NOT so prevalent in Hong Kong as setting up bars here is such an expensive/complicated proposition (rent, decoration, licences etc) versus other places.

Surprised...really surprised and quite perturbed by your "report" - for being somebody who loves Hong Kong, I always am on the look-out for things that besmirch her reputation.

Errrr..... not good enough for me that you say you cannot remember, its 2 years ago, was shit faced etc. You seem to recall good enough about it being Waikiki etc - so - do you remember if you went and challenged the  Credit card forgery...something that ANYBODY would have done in such circumstances?
And you seem to have an AMAZINGLY ACCURATE memory with being able to recall every detail from a punt 4years ago in your report

Look buddy, I have been a member on this forum longer than you, can you please stop the "not good enough" stuff. I recall Waikiki because it was on my BILL!

I did not challenge the forgery. Why? Because I have an SO, I did not want to get involved in a legal procedure. Police report etc. etc. I decided just to chalk it up to hard loss as I have written above if you took the time to read the whole thread.

When i was about to visit HK, some of my friends told me to be careful of hanging out with those Bar Girls.
They warned me that i'm goin alone and as much as possible stay out of the bars as i may be drugged then robbed afterwards.
