Champagne Court

Been working on a few regulars in MK so haven't paid a visit to CC in ages. Noticed the DB only has 4 girls listed... what happened? Is it really that empty? I know not all girls list but this time last year there were at least four girls listed from each floor.

Any bros been there recently?

Hope when I finally get round to paying a visit I'm not disappointed haha

i think it is a random thing.
it depends on how many girls are willing to pay the fee.

anybody know what happened to champagne court A?
they used to have a few girls, but last time i went, i didn't see a single one.

don;t know anything about Champs Court A

happy to report that B is still full to the brim. Paid Yuki a long overdue visit, shes on the 7/F now, on the right at the opposite end to the lifts. She's said business is not that good these days. The place is still full of punters but she said the usual conversation goes 'how much?' '$500' 'how about $300?' '$500' 'bye'

big increase in rent too it seems. heard a similar story from a girl on the 2/F

appears there was some raid on the 3rd floor on tuesday (just when i was heading down to try out the girl in room C5) and I  was ushered away by some guy who flashed an I.D card (didn't even read the card properly, assuming it was vice?)...returned the next day to find the 3rd floor empty...anyone know what went down?

One of the richest men in Hong-Kong who owns the Mira next door wants to buy out Champagne Court. At the moment he bought quite a few units on the last 3 floors. There are a few that had moved out because of this. Some of the women there did not want to advertise because they were not sure how long they could work there for because of various rumors surrounding the buy out of Champagne Court. Latest rumor is that the sale of Champagne Court fell through as the Hotel owners,Camera shop and Watch shop owners did not agree to sell along with the landlords from the ones that rent to the working girls. The reason rent prices went up is because unit prices went up due to buyout prices which were going for 15,000-18,000 HKD per square foot on the 7th and 8th floor.

Michelle from the second floor mentioned something like this to me. I'd said how come shes not on the website anymore and she replied that most of the girls won't advertise here anymore because of the owner wants them out.

The owner only wants them out if they sold. If they did not sell then they for sure do not want them out because they provide the owners a good return on their investments. Rumor has it that the 8th floor is back on the market for sale again but at a lower price than what the developer bought it for. The price is still very high for the average person out there. Some of the landlords own quite a few units in that building and the ones that sold on the top floors also sold on the lower floors as they pretty much said "Hey, I have a few more units I would happily sell you at 15,000-18,000 HKD oer square foot!

Those that are wealthy have good connections so in order to bring down value on those units they had to drive down business at Champagne Court so this is where the media got involved in following famous locals that went there and taking pictures like detectives and then publishing them in the newspapers, magazines and on television which then creates fear among local people who monger in Hong-Kong (those that work and have family in Hong-Kong). People like that will not go any more due to fear of loss of face. If people stop going rents drop and when rents drop owners are more likely to sell. They basically stir trouble for both customers and tenants in order to make people leave.

Police are stepping up crackdown here as buyer wants to force owners out. Looks like 2 raids a week at Champagne Court.

Its legal, but the general public in HK usually detest them so with enough complaints i think they have to do something, since its ok for the police to go check for id cards for almost no reason at all.

Also if the owner wanna rent or sell the building having WG isnt really a good selling point (for some ppl )

It is legit if she is a local with a local ID card but not legit if she is working for a pimp or some other prostitution ring from China. There are a few of those working some of the buildings now. Those are being clamped down on. Some of the girls are also very cheap to the point where when they are off they rent out their rooms to the illegal girls that come in from China looking for a few extra dollars. If that lady is working in a room that is not hers then both get in trouble. The fact that the rich dude wants to buy out the whole building in Champagne court and rebuild it is one of the reasons you will see more raids in the coming weeks.

sounds like a place to avoid if there will be lots of raids coming. such tactics do not surprise me, given the rumors I have read elsewhere on this site that the Mongkok fire was deliberately set so as to drive out the street markets there are so the area can be redeveloped.  This kind of thing wouldn't surprise me at all.

You have to know the Chinese culture  When no one complains and all is fine, the police do not come out to raid places but when you have a few Billion HKD at stake being held up by working women and a few shop owners you bet your ass someone will be complaining to make them move on   Most certainly the big buyer does not want to be held up by a few working girls and maybe a few pimps lol.. What happens as the city becomes more modern these places are driven out from one old building to another until the next building gets bought up as well and they have no place left to move.
