For the most part HK is well organised for supply to follow demand. In other words, you will find bars full of WGs in October, but they will also be full of punters. Around CNY there can be a lull. Occasionally however there can be a gap where punters head home after a show while WG's have a few more days stay left on their VISA. You make it sound as if Hong Kong is some two-bit type of sex destination only catering to the needs of visitors here - whilst the reality is that most WG activity in HOng Kong is centered upon satisfying the LOCAL DEMAND. WG and HG's DEFINITELY whilst the Wanchai/Hari scene probably just a bit influenced by tourists.   But even those places, heck I'd say that at least the LARGE MAJORITY of clients are LOCAL/AREA LOCAL expatriates and not the tourists (except of course when the 7th fleet rolls in!!) Actually, when the big trade fairs come to HK or the Guangdong area, hotels in HK increase prices by up to or more than double sometimes and the room occupancy gets filled up alot of times making it hard for HG's to get rooms. When DK Violet was in HK in October, she had to switch hotels at least 4 times within 6 days... During the same time period, on one of the days, another agent could only get one hotel room to share between five gals or so... For the most part, the agents know when these weeks are and adjust accordingly so perhaps there is a slight decrease in the number of HG's at these times. Hi Joe, it is true that my comments were very much based on bar punting which makes it more relevant to visitors and ex-pats. My comments also relate to the ethnicities you find in bars which tends to mean Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Mongolia etc more than PRC. Lots more girls available at peak times but lots more Bros hunting as well. It is testimony that HK has some many other punting options than just bars... what a wonderful place.
