I think it's BS for the simple reason that WGs can make more money in America and Canada than they would in Hong Kong.  And actually, there are a number of WGs from Hong Kong who after they've gotten "older" will make the move across the Pacific to continue the trade because non-Asian men in North America can't tell the real age of Asian women.

For example, let's say that a walkup girl in Hong Kong charges $500 HKD.  Based on today's rate that'll be about $65 CAD (CAD and USD are pretty much par).  But in Canada the going rate for an incall would start at $765 HKD ($100 CAD).  If the girl is older it can be $612 HKD ($80 CAD) but the younger, hotter ones would be $1070-1225 HKD ($140-160 CAD) -- and these rates are all for 30 minutes only.  And these are just the Asians.  Non-Asian agencies, both incall and outcall, charge on average $1913 HKD ($250 CAD) an hour.  However, the rates will vary depending on the city.  These are the rates in Toronto and Vancouver.  In Montreal the rates would be less.  In Calgary, Edmonton, New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas the rates would be higher.  

And North American girls definitely don't provide the gfe to perfection.  That's all dependent on any particular girl.

Freelancer is correct. Also in the States specially in Vegas for an outcall is $500 US $ for an hour. Porn starts go for at least 1k US $. Other areas you are looking at an average of $300 for outcall and around $160 for incall massage or escort. They wouldn't waste their time going somewhere else unless they are on vacaation trying to make some extra cash.
