I thought some std's can't be detected until after a few months? Mostly worried about herpes 1 and 2 and HIV.
Bubba, herpes infections show up in less than 2 weeks. Are you worried that you were infected but one of those who show no symptoms?
There are several different tests for HIV. The most common test needs about 3 months. The more sophisticated PCR based test you could probably do right now. PCR (polymerase chain reaction) is the chemistry that amplifies even very tiny (undetectable) levels of DNA and RNA so it will find an HIV infection that wouldn't show up on the old test.
Was your only exposure the BBBJs? Then you most likely have nothing to worry about anyway (certainly not HIV). Just get the standard panel of STD tests and ride happily off into the sunset with your new flame.
