I've found the reports interesting. I'm curious about if any Bros also occasionally go to any clubs to meet non-pro's who might want to make a little extra money. For example I read some place that Wednesday night is a good time to go out and meet Philipina maids who just want to have a good time.

I'll be visiting Hong Kong soon for the first time and may just want to check out the non-pro seen first.

That I found Torro's excellent thread on bars but I'm particularly keen to understand any advice on regarding non-pros. Sometimes it's fun to just hang out and chat with some lovelies -- if they are easy or there is the potential to pay to play that's a bonus!

This is an oxymoron - a girl who wants money for sex IS a pro.  

Why Wednesday?  I don't recall anything about Wednesday being special - truth is any day is a good day to pick up girls in Wanchai

But the Philippinas are mostly out on Saturday night and Sunday day
Friday night's pretty busy too usually.

For Filipinas who aren't fulltime pros, I would say absolutely Sundays in Wanchai.  Take a look at the forum, there are a few particular places mentioned thought the forum that are great for this sort of scene.  I'm not as familiar as te risk of running into my own helper in Wanchai is enough to keep me far away.

As for other ladies, yes, Wednesday is a ladies night in Soho or LKF bars.  Not sure which bars specifically though.  The ladies you'll get in these places on a Wed will be divorced expats staying in HK for their kids and for the lifestyle thir ex-husband can give them in HK.  Also, many MBA ladies in HK (married but available). For whatever reason this is common here.  Lastly, professional girls having some drinks.

All in all, I would say the "non-pro" scene in HK is no different than that in NY, London, Tokyo, Paris, etc.  there are 4 basic rules to the game and I guarantee you'll get laid:

1. Be handsome
2. Dress and groom yourself well
3. Be rich
4. Be interesting.  

Simple as that.

Also, if they are non-pros, why would I need to pay them?
Just pick em up like normal civvies.


Unless poster is asking about chick who claim themselves as Freelance or non-pros doing this on part time basis with compensation. It;s all a matter of perception/

I'd agree - sometimes they (civvies) can cost a LOT than pro's however. If you want to try non-pro's in normal clubs, then certainly many places with Ladies night on weds/thurs - such as Billion, Beijing..just depends what kinda crowd you want.

Definitely confidence can override if you're not good-looking, and perhaps the other factors as well.

Back to your place or theirs? Often it's a day trip for me, or arriving from elsewhere, Sat night in hotel, on Sun have to catch connection so already checked out late morning even when flight is later in the day. So no hotel. Is Wan Chai too upscale for ST hotels?

For my back pocket. Still plenty left for me to play around with on 141 next time I happen to find myself in HKG.

If you're looking for a non-pro, aim to be in the bars after 10pm, and make your choice before 12:30 ... the girls decide where they're going to sleep shortly before the MTR closes for the night.

Hey there's a good point: we talk a lot about the Sunday afternoon pickup, but where do the DMs go on Saturday night?  Same Wan Chai bars as the semi-pros?

Saturdays are good, since that's when the more socially motivated girls (aka those with a hungry pussy) negotiate to take the evening off before their day off.  

You'll find pros everywhere, the fine line between pros and civvie DHs can be all but imperceptible at times

J Forest is a little less intense than the pro bars - the crowd pretty much moved there from Laguna when it closed

New Makati used to be civvie but seems to have a higher concentration of pros these days, but there are always more civvies on a Saturday

Thanks everyone this is all valuable info. I will unfortunately not be in Hong Kong for the weekend but will be around on Wednesday night and staying in Wanchai. So any recommendations in that area would be appreciated.

you'll find girls any day of the week

mid-week there are fewer girls (of course) but there's also less guys so less competition
generally makes it more relaxed
but be prepared to move fast when you do see what you like - or you might find someone like me or Wander jumping the queue ahead of you

You will have to check a number of bars, and be ready to move on from any that are almost empty,
keep your eyes open when walking between venues, you can sometimes spot a gaggle of giggles going somewhere to play

that way you have a good chance of finding a SYT looking for a shoulder to sleep on

All girls are pros.  Payment varies from cash to dinner and a movie

All Wan Chai bars and clubs have a great selection of willing ladies.  Just be nice and buy em a drink.  When she starts with some kind of physical contact, you know it's on.  I'm sure there are plenty more places in HK, but WanChai is my only experience there.  

If you like the domestic helpers, the Indonesian and Thai girls seem to be out for a better time than the Phillipinas.  I think maybe a more conservative outlook in the Phillipines but could be just the ones I've stumbled across?  Anyway this scene is a lot of fun and the extra challenge and randomnous of it all makes it my favorite!

I guess you have a point. And I'm going to do exactly what you recommended. I just want to figure out what places would be best on a Wednesday night to meet any DHs. Read somewhere that some of them have off that day. But that only seems to be Sundays. Oh well.

This type of discussion is MUCH better suited for a pickup board.  If you aren't paying for it, IMO, it does not belong on this board.  What good is a report on a civvie?
