I have been practically went through most of the threads in Q&A and thanks for all the info. I will be going to hk next moth for just a few days. I have my girls printed out and sorted according to their location. my first itenerary will be visit new lucky house in jordan road,formost bldg,observatory road in tst,champagne court, then check out hotel res girls on my way back home. My question is has anyone tried to stay or has an information about guesthouses or hostels? hotels are expensive. Im planning on staying at a cheaper place that way I have more $$$ to play with. I'll try to take notes and share them here when I get back. thank you,

These places are great if you just want a room to crash. They are VERY basic, but priced around 200 HK/night. Rooms are air-conditioned, clean enough, have TV, sheets are changed daily; but the rooms are small and certainly not luxurious. But both of these bldgs are about a 5-min walk from all of the TST 141 bldgs and hotels where the Hotel Res girls work. They're also very close to the MTR. If this sounds OK, PM me and I'll send you the name/address/Tel# of a place I used to stay in when I was visiting HK on the cheap. 孔子曰： 君子不羞于舔屄也

Mirador mansion has more positive feedback than chungking, courtesy of the backpackers. however, I dont mind checking chungking mansion out in case mirador has no room availlable on the day I get there. As for GiGi in Fook kiu mansion, shes is worth a try.

Mrs Li is quite nice and speaks excellent English. Her place is very popular with the backpacker crowd. The price I quoted you was for a private room, by the way - tho depending on season, it could be 50 HK higher.
