Hi Guys,

For curiousity's sake, I have been gathering data from this forum in the last 6 months to find out the best time of the year to visit HK (based on the number of available HGs in 141).

Before proceeding further though, please bear in mind of the following:
1. the numbers shown below are only averages,  
2. data was taken every week, mostly on Saturdays,
3. data covers only certain HGs,
4. chinese gals data with rate ranging from 799 to 1,000 HKD were gathered only last April,
5. made only two weekly readings in May.

So here are the results,

Short Summary
For JG & KG - January was best with the highest combined average of 30 HGs; March and June the worst, with only 20.
(I visited HK last June, indeed only a few choices here last month)

For Thai - January to April, only a few HGs were available; from May to June, they will no longer available.  
(Maybe no demand? or logistics were difficult?  In Singapore though, there is plenty of supply... then again, each country has their own set of advantages)

For Others - June was the best with the highest average of 6 HGs; February the worst, with only 2.
(Not much to say here as I have not experience them 1st hand in HK...)

For Chinese - June was the best time to visit.
("Too many choices, too little time..." have we heard of this phrase time and time again, hehe.)

Overall - there is no clear pattern here just a set of specific good months and bad months per HG.  
A lot of seasonality factors have to be considered like the weather, economic conditions, big events in HK, etc. and mix that
with the HG's timing for her financial needs or her preferences like convenience or enjoyment's sake... you get the idea.

Conclusion - what is the best time to visit HK??  ANYTIME, ANY MONTH is the BEST!

i had a miserable time during christmas/new years
slim pickings on chinese WG
resorted to flying in my regular... bleh*

Again, to each his own unique experiences...

Christmas/new years maybe a good time to do KG/JG though, winter time
may have them coming to HK as it is usually colder in their own country.

personal preference i suppose
i'd like to be able to communicate with my WG
my mandarin and cantonese isn't exactly the best, but i can manage to get by
i find that good communication between both parties would result with better service
again, personal experience...

although i must admit the KG/JG looks quite exotic and apprenticing
perhaps one day i would try one

The best time is hard to say, but the worst times are easier to spot.

Chinese New Year is generally not the best time.  The girls who can (and who made enough money) disappear from HK and Macau and head back home.  The girls that are left either want to be home and can't be, can't afford it, and so on.  The pickings get slim, that is for sure!

Christmas is also getting more difficult, for various reasons, including the hotels jacking up their rates.

You may find also that "golden week" times are not very good either.

that's quite disappointing... i purposely fly in to hk during the christmas holidays to escape from the harsh heat in oz
love the cold... the heat and humidity's a killer in asia
otherwise i'd be there now!

All that analysis is most impressive but seriously, i think the variation on any given day from your averages would be significant.
As many a wise men have said - Less time analyzing, more time fucking - ok, so I may have interpreted a little but you get the drift.

KG/JG - 41  (last January, 1st week)
Thai - 4  (last March, 1st week)
Others - 9  (last June, 1st week)
Chinese 700 to 899 HKD - 284  (last June, 3rd week)
Chinese 900 to 1,000 HKD - 33  (last June, 3rd week)

christmas time seems to be a low time everywhere. wg's have families too.

Do you do tax returns as well? You need to put all that good maths brain to goo use - actually you already have!

I am into the markets so maybe that explains my fondness of numbers and analysis...

Too many variables can skew statistics.  Some stats I try not to influence me

Here's one more for fun:
I checked today's total number of available 141 girls - 1,399
and today's total number of registered members - 2,770

Ratio - 0.51, that is approximately 1 gal for every 2 guys.

There is happiness in sharing...
