Greetings and salutations, gents. This is my first post, obviously, here at the forum, but I've browsed with eager eyes for years. I've been to HK before, but always with GF, this time I'm on my way to Osaka, but I have a 15-hour layover Monday evening in HK, so I thought I'd hop the Airport Express and try to stumble my way into something warm and cuddly.
I've not much to offer for any advice that might be forthcoming here, but I AM heading to Phuket, Thailand in 10 days and I'd be more than happy to post up some reports from there. I've been to Thailand many times, and I'm not a newbie monger, but never had any experiences in HK or China for that matter.
Any recommendations on what I ought to do with my 10-11 hours that I may find myself in the city? Wanchai is my target destination, as I'll probably need a short-time hotel and not a full priced place. I expect to get to Central hopefully by 9PM, and have to head back to the airport around 7AM. If any of you gents would happen to be interested, I'd be more than happy to spring for a beer ortwo and pick up some advice direct in person.
