switching girls?

Hi Guys,
I am relatively new to the site and got questions to ask.

I have been using working girls for a number of years but only a handful of times in Hong Kong.

Can I ask those who are more experienced in HK, why do agents switch their girls?
Why do they promise one girl over the phone but when you get there its someone else?
Surely they want to boost their reputation by delivering what is promised?

I visit HK once a year and always get excited when I get there but I have experienced switching a couple of times and its really annoying.

Any views?

From what i understand they try to spread the work around or that girl might be busy. Some agents are better than others. I have been B&S by JB before but it was not horrible. In the end ofthe day it's about standing your ground and not taking it unless it is exactly what you want. I would also add that the photos on the DB tend to be PS heavily, so may not be an accurate depiction of a HG. So best to look at reports and get a confirmation before making your call.

I could say it is basically 3 reasons which is really the same as what sux said but I will put it out there a bit different.

1)  Hot pic of hot chick on the DB to bring in bros.  They may tell you who you want is busy and give you someone else because actually that girl probably is not even in town or working for them, or, they say nothing and figure that you will accept once you get there.

2)  That girl is busy but they are afraid to tell you for fear of loosing you so they don't say anything until you get to the room, hope you can't tell or just the same in 1, hope you wont care once you are there.

3)  Its her, you just can't tell because of the difference between live and memorex. (Hmmm, showing my age.  Some of you young bucks may not even get that joke).

Most probable cause is that the girl you asked for is busy, and agent tries to screw you over to accept a substitute.

Unfortunately Hong Kong agents do not seem to care much about reputation or word of mouth recommendations, and are mostly interested in making quick volume sales.

Its being able to stand your ground... the first couple of times it happened to me it was just too quick...
... door opens.... "ok?" .... and before you know it..."er, ok." Then you walk in... knowing fine well that you have just been an idiot!!

They know most guys can't say no to sex....lol

I believe they do it to give the girls who are having a slow day some action. A couple of times i was only after a specific gal and rang the agent back when he tried to B&S and straight away i was given the gal i originally wanted so she wasn't busy. Obviously a good report makes a WG in high demand and there is only so much time in a day.

if you dont speak mandarin or cantonese, and you are not on their database, then there is definitely a high possibility for switching, especially if you happen to choose a popular girl.

i have been lucky never to have been switched at, even when i started, and i attribute that to being able to speak Chinese

I got a B&S from JB as well...I honestly couldn't tell until afterwards doing some detective work I realized what happened.  I actually didn't mind as I had a great time and after seeing real pics of both girls I think I got the prettier one.

I probably will never end up getting the better girl after B&S again!!  Sigh...

I think with JB it might be worth just asking who he has available and keeping an open mind...he seems to pretty consistently have great girls.  IMO.

It was words from a commercial for Memorex about their VHS tape quality (ya, that old thing called VHS, LOL). Basically they would ask you, "Is it live or is it memorex". So I was just playing off the words as meaning, "Its it the girl you picked or a Bait and Switch". Kind of looses its effect when I have to explain it so I think I will just stop now.

oh. haha I see. When I think Memorex, I think CDs and DVDs... I slightly recalled VHS back as a kid. No more rewind charges nowadays!

Actually, the "is it live or is it memorex?" slogan started originally in 1972, 2 years before I was born. I remember it was used for audio cassettes, later VHS/Beta tapes. I thought they did use the line again for CD-R's and DVD-R's a few years ago.
