I'm a HK newbie but have traveled and short time lived in Asia over the last several years.  I know each place has its own rhythm.  I'm getting HK added to my territory, before was only a layover stop.

The 141 scene seem pretty straight forward, at least for someone who's pulled girls in PRC, Thailand, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and half a dozen stans.

I prefer long time/overnights.  I enjoy going out to dinner maybe playing a little pool with the grils be for heading back to the room.  I  also like giving the girls massages and really enjoy the morning roll.

In HK for 141 girls is overnight done regularly?   

How long is overnight, what time do you pick up the girls,when do they leave?

A couple of posts have said that the girls prefer to a short time run to get your feel before they will do an overnight.  Would a mid/late after noon call, and if all turns out all right a followup request for overnight be a good procedure?

What is the going rate for overnight, 2-3 times the base fee?

Also how guest friendly are hotels?   I've passed through HK a couple of times and it seems that all hotels have massage, with extra services, how do they deal with outside girls?  Are local hotels better than Western chain hotels?

first question is: do you speak mandarin? if yes, you stand a better chance at enjoying your overnight.

overnight usually is 3x the base price, and starts at 12midnight till about 6 or 8am. you have to keep in mind though, that these are the 141 hotel girl's sleeping times. they start work at 12 noon till around 1am regularly. so if you get a girl for overnight, she could have had 8-10 customers that day already and could be shagged out and just wants to rest and sleep. so you may not getthe best value.

an alternative is to hit the bars like Hari's Bar (check out the top of the Chat section, where there's info about Hari's, as well as do a search on Hari's, TonyToro has quite a few informative articles about the bar). the ladies working there work for the night, they most likely are not part of the pay for sex scene during the day, so could be fresher, and if you dont speak mandarin, a lot of these girls at Hari's will have some proficiency in English.

Thanks for the tip on Hari's. It sounds like that's the route to go.  I usually like find a gril to have dinner with, maybe drinks/pool/dancing and then off to the room.  Usually a 7-9 PM pick up, by the time we've finished in the room its usually 2-3 AM hate to send them out at that time, especially when you can usually get another round in the morning and sleeping with a warm body make the yet another hotel bed seem more comfortable.

It looks like I'll be in HK 3-4 times a year for 3-7 days each.  I've been to HK perhaps a dozen times in the last 10 years, but my stays have ranged from 18-36 hours.  I'm looking forward to spending time there.

Hari's bar gets rocking only around 11pm. if you want to pick up someone early like 7-9 as you stated, you wont find them atHari's... or you could go Hari's the 1st night and find someone good who you can arraange to meet you earlier the next day

Are there more bars around except Hari's to pick up girls maybe?

Freelancers are probably what you're looking for. Chinese girls are somewhat rare in bars from my experience, though I have met a few. Plenty of other bars to pick up, Wan Chai is the main spot. Check out TonyToro's great thread on the subject:

I dont understand why anyone would do overnight if they are just going to be tired.  Can anyone point out the benefits of an overnight. I'm kinda dissapointed, I assumed that overnight would start earlier, heck, at 12 am im pretty tired and sleepy to. Maybe just paying for someone to warm up the bed

If you like GFE then overnights are good.  And if you like getting woken up by having a hot girl blowing you then overnights are good.  And if you want to build up a rapport with a girl so you always have a back up plan, overnights are good.  And if you want to try to get freebies later overnights are good.

On the other hand, a bad WG on an overnight is a waste of money.  That's why everyone suggests a regular punt first to try her out.

I have never had a BG/HG overnighter personally - only short term sessions, but logic would suggest that having a bar girl is the better option. Bar girls usually don't start work until night and some sleep thru until noon or even beyond in preparation for the night ahead (I recall awaking a couple of girls to confirm dinner dates despite it being past 1pm).  On the other hand, hg's have been working all day long. Their clocks are set for different times.

I agree completely.  And just to be clear, I have only had BG overnighters.  So I can't say if a HG overnighter is as good.

I like bar girls because they often speak English, and you can easily determine this before committing to much (as opposed to a HG).  And if you go early (10pm or so) you are generally their first and only customer.

A HG overnighter means you are their last customer.  Something they have to finish in order to sleep.
