#1 Post at 14-8-2010 20:12  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L language barrier hi guys i was born in china buh was raised in aus so i could only speak sum basic mandarin, and planing to go back to shanghai next month to study chinese at one of the uni's, Plus hoping to get a couple of visits to hk when im there. So i was just wondering how do you guys do it with the language barriers, like what do you guys say to get what you want?? i hav no idea of ne sex related words in chinese, wondering if you guys could help me out there thanks.

#5 Post at 15-8-2010 16:48  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L A lot of the freelance WG in Shanghai speak at least enough English to get by.  And as Skinny said, almost every place will have some manager who speaks English.  As a last resort they can call someone to translate.  And the girl does not need to speak anything. Guandong is a different story.  Very little English there, although you can still get by if you have any experience.  HK is hit or miss with HG, and almost never with walkups (or so I've heard). But if you are of student age and halfway decent looking, just go to the bars and look for an English speaking girl.
