Leaving for HK this Friday and I was trying to see if it would even be possible to reach RA30 by then.  I won't spam post just to gain karma.  Possible to get RA30 in a few days w/o posting reports/pics or should I not even bother?

Bro that's seriously backwards thinking, and could land you in a lot of trouble.  Just by trying too hard you risk spamming ... yes, others have tried and tripped themselves up by trying too hard.  

Most important is for you to make a valuable contribution - and that means valuable in the eyes of the readership, not just in your eyes.  Focus on doing what others want you to do.  

Having said that you CAN raise a storm, by making valuable contributions.  
The fastest newbie on the block was G-A-R-Y: he arrived, like you, a nobody on a first visit, and very quickly became a respected senior contributor (with all the rights and privileges that come with it).  You can see how he did it, by searching on his name,

"Theoretically" you might be able to raise RA without reports and pics ... but the simple fact of the matter is you would have to find something SO valuable that people like it even more than they like a report with pics ... and as creative my brain is, it simply can't see that happening.  

A good report with pics typically attracts anywhere between 20 to 40 K.  Nothing else I've seen has ever come close.

I agree with bro DArtagnan...easiest way is to post reports with pics, the more and better pics you post, the more K's, although some might be A's. But then A's are good cos then people generally appreciate your comments more cos of your credibility.

Theres plenty of girls on the DB that you can form your opinion on, their pics are PSed but it would be less than say 60% most of the time, unless you're really unlucky or get BSed.

Since you're coming anyway, go punt, report and get K's that way. Plus people start noticing you more and get you involved more.

Well, i believe 250 is the RA30 level, and you're currently at 40-ish

Pretty difficult, unless you punt in your home country now and post some pics of it in the International Reports section

it is highly unlikely to get to RA30 without reports in 3 days. that would be 70 posts a day, and i havent seen anyone get near that many posts a day

I would not get caught up in chasing K's. If you have some mongering experience elsewhere, then by all means post a report or two in the International section, but I would not expect that to get to Musky Member status before your trip.

You do not need RA30 to enjoy HK. Just look at the number of girls in the database and look at the number of reports that bros put on every day. There are LOADS of hot girls who are giving great service who never show up in the reports section! It's nice to have a fellow bro's report and pics to refer to, but we all have to go out on a limb sometimes... AND even if a bro has had a great time, you may not get the same experience. Nothing is guaranteed.

Go to HK, enjoy the experience, post about the experience, and use this trip as a way to boost K's with your reports. If you need to, keep a note of what happens and make sure you ask every girl for a pic or two (with respect, of course!). Monitor the chat and Q & A section of the forum, but really think about your replies - are you really adding something to the discussion or just posting for the sake of it?

I know it can be frustrating to begin with, but this remains the only forum I post in, precisely because of the karma/reading access system - I know that timewaster, kids and idiots will not get access - they will not have the patience. Resist the urge to rush it, cos it will backfire on you.

A few reports and the odd post here and there in some of the other sections and you will be on your way before you know it!

thanks DA. i did make a search, but what i wanted to know is what he posted during those 24 hours that he had 200+ posts. unfortunately, our search tool cannot do focused search, so i was asking aaa888 what his recollection of what was posted in that 24 hour span ( i dont even know which 24-hour span so tough to narrow down using our limited search).

The tips here are great hints, I am actually happy that I have increased my Karma by 130 within one day.
