Help w. Hotel in HK or Macao

I supposedly had a reservation at the Lisboa for the first 3 nights of my trip, Nov 1-4. Then, I got a letter saying that I didn't make the
reservation correctly and that it has been cancelled. I'm not complaining; it probably was my fault, but the first response was vague.

I'm not in panic mode, but would appreciate suggestions on what to do once I get there. I'm leaving home in a few hours and don't
have time to research it on the Net, but will have a chance to logon to 141 at Los Angeles Airport in the morning.

In particular, are there hotel representatives at the HK airport? I get there at about 6PM, so it wouldn't matter if I need to travel a bit
from the airport. Anywhere in HK or Macao.

Thanks, much. Reports to follow, good ones I hope. It's my first time to HK, then onto Thailand after 5 days.

I suppose you can spend a night on Lantau island if you want
2 hotels are available near the airport; the cheap one needs a short ride while the other one, which is more expensive, is within walking distance

There are hotel reps for HK hotels at the airport
but if you want to go straight to Macao then go to the
Shun Tak ferry pier - there are lots of reps for hotels there.
OR as Sulasno said, if you stay here then the hotels at / near the
airport will be the easiest.
Paint Macao red while you're there!

Since you do arrive at 6 p.m., I think you should go to Shun Tak and get your Macau hotel reservations done and get yourself into Macau the same day. Good luck and don't forget the reports.
