Am planning a bachelor party for two buddies of mine. They are good friends obviously otherwise I wouldn't organize it together. This won't happen till early next year but since the logistics of getting over to Pattaya (some will be traveling from Canada, HK, States, etc...) I need to do a budget and in order to do that, I need to sort out a rough itinerary.

I know there must be SOME Pattaya vets out there that can give me a few pointers. Here's my initial thought:

Friday into Bangkok and make our way to Pattaya
Friday night easy drinking and checking the scene out and what not.
Saturday paint balling or some sort of outdoor activity that does not include mongering or that sort.
Big night with strippers on Sat evening and lotsa sex involved obviously.
Sunday afternoon/morning beach? ATVs? Jet skiing? SoapY!!!
Sunday night more women and more drinking.
Monday back to Bangkok then home.

OK, questions:

1) How realistic is this itinerary?
2) Should we aim to spend Friday night in BK?
3) Is paintballing, ATVs, jet skiing, etc... widely available (and more importantly, safe?)?
4) I remember ages ago I tried to go to the MPs with my Caucasian friends and they tried to upcharge the price quite a bit... do they still do that?

Any input is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

I can help on a couple of questions as I was just in Pattaya.

I rented a car at the bangkok airport and drove to Pattaya about an hour and 15min. easy drive car rental is cheap 110 us a day from Budget rent a car if you order a car service will cost about 2500 to 3000 Baht roughly 100 US each way

I don't think you should spend the night in BK its 45 min drive the opposite way from the airport

I did a stag weekend there and it was fantastic.

Wouldn't bother with BK for the night, just too far.

Yes, you can hire jet ski's on the beach but don't know about price and not heard of paintballing but I wasn't there for that.

One day we hired a large boat, there was a gang of us and we got a 12 girls from one of the bars to come with us for the day. Loads odf beer, bbq and you cold get up to whatever you wanted.

We also did golf one day as well and I ended up shagging my caddie, not on the course though

I always see caddies as men... I know that's not the case all the time but thanks to Happy Gilmore, whenever someone says caddy, I see a guy. So when you said you ended up shagging the caddy, I was like.. .. haha...

I am sure some old TH hands can find you a car service for the more traditional B1000 rate. B3000 is just a ripoff for unknowing tourists.

Hell, if your airport taxi driver understands any English, he'll give you his cell # and you can negotiate something with him...unless you have to roll up in something fancier than a Thai taxi.

Let me see if I can get the details for you and if I do I will send you a PM. For the girls we just went into one of the strip joints the day before and negotiated direct with the mamasan. They were more than happy as they had girls out working during the day and the girls were happy for the same reason.

BTW, the caddie was def' not a bloke!

pattaya is a great place, especially on the quick
I think your plan is pretty good
there is a local go car place not far from walking st, also on pattaya beach you can hire jet skis, i think 1000baht an hour, but i would suggest jomtien

friday night i would suggest maybe soi 7, and leave saturday night for walking st
re the strip club- plenty on walking st (Go-Go bars) a lot of fun, get there early tell the mamasan you want a lot of attention from the girls and you will be right, pick the go go bar that you like best

i would also throw in a proper thai massage,
getting from BKK to pattaya- you can hire a van or look at belltravelservice.com
for 200baht they will drop you off ast your hotel from bkk
