Then top up at any 7/11. If you want a SIM for your USB stick for your lap top for web browsing, go to any 3 Shop in HK (there is one on Carnarvon Rd in TST). HK$28/day unlimited down loads. Very good deal. If you need the USB as wellit's around HK$780 inc the SIM. Again, you can top up at any 7/11.

You can get a card that is good for HK, Macau and China. Very convenient! I found 3 to offer the best deal for me but there are other Co.'s that do it as well. Good luck!

So if I pay $28/day I can get unlimited internet access in HK or macau? please clarify as i will also be brinigng my laptop to HK soon. thanks

#9 Post at 14-2-2010 06:10  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L the last time I was in HK, I bought a sim from smartone and I was able to get voice minutes and data on my phone.  I dont know if they have any option for internet sticks for the laptops but I was able tog et some data for my phone.  I can remember how much I paid.  Maybe head there and see what they are able to do.

BTW, the actual deal is HK$2 per MB with a maximum cost of HK$28 / day and HK$298 / month. You are not "shaped" or slowed down at any point. It is the best deal I could find. For Macau: you just need to let the sales guy at the 3 shop know you need it for Macau as well and he will set you up with a SIM that does both. You can recharge the SIM by buying a recharge card at any 7/11.
