I just had a very mediocre session with Vita and she was trying to rip me off for it saying that she was a local and therefore worth more money.  No it suddenly occurred to me that WHY do we have to pay more for locals?  I find Mainlanders on the whole look better, offer more service and don't act all stuck up and high class like many locals I have tried.  Just wondering if the bros here thinks the same and what are the advantages of going local?  Would love to hear your thoughts.

the fact that there's not many of them in the market(i'm refering to the young one), and also the fact that they are risking someone they know seeing them working the job..(only my guesses).

i concur bro. mainland girls more often than not, have better bodies and better looks. in terms of WG standards, the mainland
girls have a better attitude and are more service oriented than the hk WGs.

what then are the advantages of going local? from my perspective, the local WGs offer only one thing: variation. as mainland WGs
are readily available, perhaps the punter would want to try something different from time to time? of course there are local WGs
who are great in the sack and are have a great working attitude but just in terms of numbers, the mainlanders basically own the
market.

Also, the local 141walkups usually charge a lower price than the mainland HGs that dominate the DB. but even that, i don't think that the
local WGs enjoy any real advantage as far as pricing goes. more of a novelty to do a local WG and to experience a change of flavour
once in awhile. these are the only advantages of going local i suppose.

Also you forgot to add the language factor - locals would speak Cantonese rather than broken Cantonese from mainland wgs.

If I was given a choice between HK and mainland girls, then China girls wins hands down for physical appearance and personality.

I think it's just a matter of supply and demand.  Japanese girls / Local Girls are few and far between so will cost more.  Mainland girls a in plentiful supply, hence cheaper.

It's all a marketing ploy to get us punters to pay.  The harder it is to get, the more me think it's a better product and the more we pay.  That's just life.

whereas the mainland HG usually cost between 700-800 HKD.

Locals do tend to give themselves airs - little do they know the more arrogant they act the worse their service.  

There can be a slight advantage for a local if she's really communicative and accommodating and speaks English, but in my experience the mainland girls are often more enthusiastic and responsive.  It's almost like they read non-verbal signals better, because they have to.

most of the mainland girls, they come either ilegally, or paid a large sums of money, and in order to earn those money back, they have to make sure that they can get as many customer as they can, which some will do/give extra services to keep the customer happy, thus making them a repeat customer.
while on the other hand, the HK girls...they probably do it to earn extra cash so they can shop/buy branded items.
they don't have to have the volume, as long as they can reach the sum they wanted..or in other words..do min amount of customer and get max returns.

is it just me, or do local girls tend to come in two flavors - the girls who speak with the 'de' sound, i.e. like the way Charlene talks, or they talk in the 'too much smoking' husky voice, a la Cecilia Cheung?  'De' local girls actually turn me on for some reason.  That's worth a slight premium to me.

Anyhow I digress.  You guys hit it on the head already.  Supply/demand, being able to communicate fully in Cantonese are the main reasons for price inflation.

It's easier to pretend you're with an OL if she's local, than with one of the Sichuanese lovelies ...

on the DB. so how much did she ask from you?

She had 430 hkd on DB but then she asked for 500 and not even BBBJ!!

so she was justifying the 500 based on the fact that she is local eh?

usually if the girl quotes some price like 430, 450, 480 on the DB, i think most of them
are expecting a flat 500 note coming their way minimum and i think most punters do give
500 anyway. kind of like an unspoken agreement. but for her to ask for it...thats not
very nice.

i don't understand why they bother putting those funny figures in the first place really...
it would look pretty bad on the punter for handing over four 100 notes, a 20 note and a 10
coin for example. and technically, its not as though you can fault the punter because the
advertised price was 430. all abit odd.

I would like to add, that yes its true that mainlanders need earn their money back from their venture. Also the  local HK have higher living standards so they may request more for their services
