OK, first off, let me reiterate (and without going into specifics), this was an accidental incident!! It wasn't like I banged one out on my own then made a sandwich.

It was also several years ago, so the exact flavour is not precise anymore in my memory.
What I do remember is generalities. Like, the taste wasn't all that bad. In fact, it was more the texture that was a little bit off-putting, slimy. Most bugs when they are cooked are crunchy, so not a good comparison. I guess raw worms are not crunchy, but I've never tried them. I've had caviar, so maybe a slightly salty sour gloopy caviar would be a fair description?
And I agree that chicken feet and bean noodles don't taste bad - and that's the whole point.
