If I post my fetish or fantasy in here..

If I post my fetish or fantasy in here, would I get negative marks?

I am worried that some forummers who do not share my tastes would give me negative credits.

I have already seen how waikeke received some negative comments in the SZ hooker alley thread.

Hi Bro - good that you ask!

The short answer is no you won't get negative Karma simply for talking about your fetish - unless it is illegal that is.

Actually, on this forum pretty much anything goes - as long as you show consideration and etiquette, and respect the structure of the sections.  Avoid insulting other people, and make an effort to resolve disagreements when they occur, and you can do what you want to do.  If you do get neg K it's almost always for rudeness, for posting consistently in the wrong area, or for dishonesty of some kind.

The issue with "freedom of speech" is of course that if we express ourselves, others will also express their own free speech.

Nothing wrong with that, but sometimes controversial points-of-view cause an enthusiastic debate ... So you do need a thick skin sometimes!  Although the community has one shared interest there are a lot of different personalities here, some of whom take advantage of the cloak of anonymity to be confrontational or controversial.  Then again, if your post does get attacked, you may see the attacking poster get slapped ...

Case in point someone started a gay reports thread a while back - and although some objections were raised, free speech won out and the thread lives on.  I notice when someone does post a controversial topic (again as long as it's legal) they can get support from unexpected quarters!!

OK, where to post?
The section "Chat" is there precisely for all the sorts of things you want to write about that don't fit neatly into one of the other sections.  I'm guessing you want to share or start a discussion that is not a report or a question etc. - feel free to do so in Chat.

Only one way to find out: post, and take the flak if it comes - the forum becomes very boring if everyone's being Politically Correct allthe time - so: have fun and express yourself!!

Hear Ye!  The Mayor has spoken!
