Macau Q&A now being merged into General Q&A

Gentlemen, as you know, I'm a new mod for the Macau section. In a discussion with the other mods (including the very seasoned ones), I was reminded that the current policy for any of the reports sections is that they should contain reports only, not Q&A. Instead, Q&A should go into the General Q&A section.

About 1/3 of the Macau section contained Q&A rather than reports. Earlier today, I moved enough of these to the General Q&A section (ensuring that their subject lines reflected a "Macau" focus) so that the first page of the Macau section is now all reports (except for this thread, and my "Punting Map" thread, which I'm still figuring out what to do with).

Not everyone will like this change, although it is not really a change in policy. But the theory is that if you want to learn something about Macau punting, you should search the General Q&A thread for "Macau", and it will bring up the relevant posts. Time will tell whether this improves the Macau section or not. Having heard both sides of the argument, I could predict it either way.

If you feel like commenting on this, please do. But please also know that the mods are trying to do what they collectively think is best, so no flames please. This thread will ultimately be moved to the "Feedback and Suggestions" thread if there is helpful feedback here, and to the Rubbish Dump otherwise.

If someone wants to remove 5K from this post, please feel free.

Gherk

Congrats on being the mod. You should put the punting map thread in the section above the threads. So that it won't be lost in the reports. Is that possible?
