Haikou is not the most interesting or fun city, but I have found myself there several times over the past year, and during that time I’ve dabbled in local massage options. I cannot figure out telegram groups, and won’t be including civilian encounters.

Qizhikang, Haidian 5th Road - first few times here I wasn’t offered anything. To note, I am a foreigner, and my mandarin is passable. I came here purely for the massages, but it seems after they recognised me, they offered HJ as an extra for 200 rmb. They were extremely cautious though, and kept the supplied trousers on me at all times. The venue itself is shit, cigarette smell, crude shower which I avoided, old everything. Value option and was convenient for me. Ladies were older but very friendly, from all over China.

Tai Enjoy, Heping Avenue - fully legit afaik. Coulda sworn I heard some funny sounds a few times, but was here half a dozen or so times and had nothing offered. The massages are good though.ladies are all old and local.

Taisha, Yanzao road - came here twice. The male receptionist immediately tried marketing ‘full body’ massages at upcharged costs gesturing at his loins lol. They employ Thai ladies here, and HJ is obviously available. Membership price for 90 mins and HJ was 488 I think. I put 1k in the card. Long story but I actually got the WeChat of one of the masseuses, saw where all the Thai lady stays (one big bed in an apartment nearby). Apparently the money is better here, but not luxury living conditions although everything was clean and looked ok. The spa venue itself is decent, and this was the best place for an overall pre sensual massage since thai girls clearly know their craft.

Yueshengting, renmin avenue - this is one of the nicer places but definitely more expensive. The ladies are all dressed nicely in flowy dresses and in their early 20s. Definitely a focus on service and making you feel like a king. That said you need to be a member to access HJ, and for foreigners at least there’s no indication of anything more. What’s more they use a vibration machine to get you off, unless you pay extra for their hands. The girls here are quite fun though, the young lady I had would call others on her little walky talky to come and look at my “big” private part. The VIP option where they get you off involves bathing, ear cleaning, lasts hours and you’re allowed meals and to sleep in afterwards. Girls I met were from Sichuan. There’s a vast selection. Tipping for HJ and at membership price, ur down around 900-1000.


Shengxin, Haidian 2nd East Road - first time I was offered nothing here. It is a spa place and you’re asked if you want a foot or body massage initially. The second time I attended, I pointed towards the bath and ask what it was for. The mamasan said there was an off menu option of using it, which I opted for (380 rmb or so). The masseuse will play with your little man inside the bath, and ask for a 200-300 top for HJ. The girls here weren’t attractive, and do not strip but you can play around from outside. Both girls  and here were Hainanese. It’s also the only place I went to which never has any foreigners before, previous places at least has some experiences.


Haikou is not an international city, in the 60+ days I’ve been there this year, I’ve seen under 5 foreigners walking around. I see plenty around the south coastal cities though. Nobody will speak English at these places.
