Using a condom only lowers the risk, it does not eliminate it … or is my understanding about this primitive ?
Here you can check probabilities:
https://wwwn.cdc.gov/hivrisk/estimator.html#-~mb|ivi.con
if you are a man and have sex with a HIV+ woman; you not taking PrEP, she not taking ART:
vaginal insertive sex with condom: 1/10000
vaginal insertive sex without condom: 4/10000
So even with condom the risk is not 0, but it is very low.
Just imagine you have a condom breaking.
In my first years of punting, I did use condoms. I had condoms breaking 4 or 5 times, even without noticing it.
I remember fucking a wg in missionary and I shot my load. When pulling out we noticed the tip of the condom was in shreds and my cum inside her. For how long in the act the condom had been broken? No idea...
Just imagine she is riding you. You are using a condom. Her red days start. A micro drop of her blood gets in contact with the skin of your balls which you shaved before the punt. Or you finger her when her period starts. A micro lesion in your skin lets that micro drop with virus into your body... (according to what I have read, the concentration of virus in blood is much higher than in vaginal secretions - when not on ART)
These are not the only possibilities.
Those who want 0 % STD risk: don't have any kind of sex at all. Don't kiss, no petting, etc.
The only thing where you have 100 % guarantee: life ends with death.
