So I was in Shenzhen, bored, and thought I might as well try a spa that I had seen a review of on this very forum.  It also gets fairly good reviews on tripadvisor and so given I was not too worried if I struck home or not and really did want a nice massage, I thought why not give it a shot.  If it's veggie then so be it.  If it's more then all good too.  With these low expectations and an open mind I walked in.

The Spa experience itself is good quality, relatively standard fare.  Clean and high end enough generally.  As per usual, you enter, wash, shower, steam and sauna with a bunch of dudes who seem to like hanging out naked together way more too much.  The room had giant TV screens and people were watching the Olympics from the pool.  Once fully washed, you get your spa clothes on, walk through and head past a hair salon, some computer games and karaoke booths and up a fairly long staircase to what I discovered was really the main floor of the joint.  At the top there are tons of armchairs where you can chill and get your foot massages or whatever.  To the right there is a restaurant that I didn't eat at and all the usual fresh fruit and drinks that one would normally expect to see.  On the left hand side are a few girls in short tight blue uniforms and high heels looking a bit more like hookers than masseuses.  Before I could even sit down one of the ladies in blue came to attend me.  She was a bit pushy and pretty much insisted I sit down in a chair as she thrust a menu in my hands.  She was not as hot as I normally go for but she wouldn't really take no for an answer. nor accepted my insisting to her that she could come back later.  My Chinese is not good so there was a lot of using phones to communicate.  She kept insisting I get one of the longer massage treatments so that she could "press oil'.  In the end I gave in, said ok, and she took me to the elevator (there are 3 floors in total) and then to a massage room that had a bit less passing trade than some of the others (though they all had small windows that couldn't be entirely covered from people walking past).  She then user her phone to tell me that there was a 15% tip as standard for any extra services, which I said I was ok with. Then she left and I got in the massage ready face down position.  She came back and got on with what was a fairly atypical, slightly rough massage that I didn't enjoy much.  Weirdly about 5 minutes in to the massage she stopped and handed me her phone which had a message on it that said "I am sorry but I only give massage, I hope you do not think that I mislead you".  What made it weirder is that she didn't even stop to type something on her phone so she had clearly lined the message up when she left the room and was only showing it to me now that I was fully committed.  As I was only half in to getting some action and didn't care so much what happened I said fine and put my face down again so she could get on with the pummeling.  At the end of the massage she started to rub her hands a bit closer to my balls and got LB's attention.  She then asked if I wanted more service and I said yes.  She then started to negotiate me with price and said it was 500 RMB.  I said ok.  I then paid her on wechat.  She then broke off to leave the room and get extra towels.  Came back and effectively hid my LB under a bunch of towels and carefully did the deed whilst clearly trying not to get caught by anyone.  Then clean up, then payment, which she insisted to include an 80 RMB tip on top for her.  It was overall a pretty average experience.

Then things got interesting.

I went down to the lounge room again and sat on a chair to get on with the veggie side of being at the spa.  I played with the TV screen monitor looking up what movie entertainment they had to watch, as well as ordered a pedicure and a drink through the online menu. A guy promptly came with a bunch of tools and started to clean my toes up.  Whilst he was doing that I was chatting to the girl that had just massaged me on wechat, trying to understand if there are other girls that she could introduce me to.  She said better not to talk on wechat but that she was the only one.  However, at the exact moment another girl in blue came up to me and started talking.  Much, much prettier and a bit younger than the first girl.  She was trying to insist that she could 'press oil' with me also.  I asked her if she knew other girls that could do it with her for 'four hands' and she said she had a friend and so they could do it together.  She indicated I look her up on the TV screen that was dangling in front of me.  It turned out that the person she had me search up was the first girl, whose badge number turned out to be 1007.  This second girl's number was 1008.  I had been left unsatisfied by the first experience and given this girl was much hotter and LB was still awake and keen I said I didn't need to see her friend again but ok to seeing her 1 on 1. Once my pedicure guy had done his work we went upstairs and it was pretty much the same routine again, only she was much friendlier, chattier in a GFE rather than transactional type of way, did a much better service and she asked for a flat 600 and didn't expect a tip.  All much simpler and left me a lot happier.

So, I have no idea if it is really only these two girls that work in this manner or whether there are more.  It seemed quite a family friendly establishment in other respects and the fact that you couldn't get the blinds down completely in the rooms kind of made me feel that it definitely wasn't a super raunchy venue.  The decor of the spa was good however. If you are strong willed enough to push away the girls you don't want and you only want a chill out + HJ then this is a decent enough place.  Might be hit and miss whether a girl is game or not though.  These two girls were the only ones that interacted with me and I honestly didn't get the vibes that the whole establishment was vibing the same way as them so hard to say.

So it’s 1100x2+pedicure= roughly 2.5k?

I would say just the more you go to Shenzhen spas the more you will be able just stand firm. Some of the masseuse will say anything under the sun to try and persuade you. I personally think Shenzhen doesn’t offer a whole lot of value when it comes to HJ. I would just go in there and say I will not pay anything more than 150-200 tips even if I shoot accidentally during the HJ

And another tip, you can take a photo of the tip sheet to make sure they don’t change it because that can happen. Sign your 150-200 and just walk out the room. Simple
