Much has been said about the capital of Malaysia, KL, in this forum.

However, there is one other place that provides more variety, and at very decent prices for budget conscience punters. As long as you have the grab app to move around, and speak mandarin, the JB experience is something that should not be missed.

Located just North of Singapore, Johor Bahru (JB), is the closest Malaysian city to Singapore. JB is the weekend paradise for Singaporean travellers, with the wak Malaysina Ringgit against the Singapore dollar, your money goes very fat there.

Aside from great grocery shopping and food options, punting in JB is also almost half the price of what is equivalent of Singapore, making it a great way to have fun at a more wallet friendly level.

Your choices are essentially endless. There are the large well organised spas in various hotels in Malaysia, as well as smaller massage shops that dots the shop houses all over JB. You can also get outcall ladies, and even local Malaysian SYTs if you have someone to call.

Like HK, TG is an essential tool, as this is where you will normally contact the pimps to set your appointment.

To keep things simple, and usually the physically safer option, I prefer going to the spas, which takes its design cues from sauna of Macau or DG.

QSM spa is located in Taman Molek. This is an older spa situated in a shophouse district more famous for handcrafted furniture, rather than sex. QSM is an older joint, one of the smaller joints that have survived the pandemic.
Disappointing, their hot pool/cold pool/ sauna facilities have been shut down, so its more a straight up fuckshop, instead a spa.

There are several spas in hotels. The stalwarts will be the spas in New York Hotel, GBW Hotel and Crystal Crown Hotel. These spas are very old however, and facilities were rundown from hearsay.

My next part would cover NZ Spa ainside of Berjaya waterfront hotel, which had a change in management, and had good stocks. Would recommend there.

Another one is HV spa in Holiday Villa hotel. This was recently renovated and I heard good things from punters there. It was a pretty nice spa pre-covid, when I visited.
