Last time I was in HK, I got in touch with this agent. I told him upfront I'm a foreigner & from India. He then asked me to send a $800 deposit & also he asked me for a selfie video. I couldn't comply with his weird requests and offered to share booking screenshots with other agents. After sharing he complained about them being doctored lol. Then after some arguments, he blocked me. Ended up using other agents. I felt this was very weird and never attempted to use him again. Just to add, I visit HK 3-4 times every year and each visit end up booking around 8-10 sessions. Still unable to wrap my head around such an experience.
