Shenzhen - Shekou area bars have been put on a strict 2am close restriction for the time being. Result of an incident at one of the bars a few nights ago where a girl was hurt during an argument about a bill. As the police are involved and I am not sure of the protocol I haven't mentioned which bar (but can do if the mods approve but doesn't change the situation). An already declining area which won't be helped by this.
I expect those who use this area are already aware but apart from the inconvenience of the early close it may pay to take care as the police are probably on higher than normal alert.
Normally it all blows over and/or the girls start stretching the time and operating behind close doors but the tolerance to the bars by police and landlords is already declining so just advise some caution
