BKK - Why is the AC always blasting so goddamn high in shops/malls/BTS
Wondering if anyone else has this issue with getting massage services here?
I'm a person who gets cold pretty easily, hands/feet will turn cold pretty quickly, hence why I adore Bangkok's weather. I'm never cold outside even at night in Winter, never need a jacket, etc.
Usually in the places I've been around the world with hot climates, they generally prefer it to be a bit hotter than normal indoors as well. As in, they'll have a bit of air conditioning, but not much.
So why is BKK so different in this regard? I actually hate being indoors in malls and movie theaters b/c the difference is so extreme. It can also affect massage experiences as I'm not moving around to generate any heat, plus the oil being on the skin often creates and additional cooling effect.
I'd imagine some probably like the high A/C, but are there any others like me who despise it?
The extreme temp difference from stepping into a freezing BTS car from the hot outdoors is also not great for the body. | |
