Reasons to set higher RA
When posting in North America and Bay Area. Those sections require minimum RA20 and if missing, mods will close the thread and dock Karma/Acceptance

Another reason to exercise discretion would be if you received a secret option that is not advertised and would be considered special treatment, could also just not mention it at all e.g. BBFS with a CFS only provider
When wanting to avoid newbies leaving one-liners, missing out on +1 Acceptance is not a big deal anyways
