There are known hotels in different areas of Bangkok, so if you feel you want to adopt a view-then-accept strategy, best to target one of these hotels (there's more than one in the Ratchada 17 area). Be advised that if you do reject the girl, do NOT touch her and contact the agency immediately. If they have other options in said hotel they will make the offer. In any case, be polite--the girl you rejected cleared her schedule for you, and now faces zero compensation.
There are some listed "freelancers" who are agency-affiliated, certainly in the Ratchada area. That's the business.
As a farang I declare thus to agents, and send a photo of myself (black strip over eyes). Often I'm told the provider will not accept my business. I'm OK with this as it means I don't waste my time on someone who's gonna be skittish--there are, you may rest assured, many options in Bangkok.
