	Airplane mode is the safest bet for iPhones. Keep in mind, the Apple ecosystem for devices and tracking is broad.  You could simply disable location sharing on the phone, but if you happened to have a pair of Apple Airpods linked to your account those would still show up and track location via the Find My app.  Airplane mode phone on the phone should prevent any local devices from reporting up any location updates.
