Agree it's not that hard. A few tips:
- use your phone for translating and the calculator app for the dollar amount Using the example above, type in 300 and they will understand you want to pay $300.
- Have exact change
- Go with confidence. You [probably] wont get robbed but your american friends may not be impressed with the household conditions.
- Your friend can always try the Thai Nests on Temple St. Those are fairly easy to use.
