[Thailand] Anatomy of a Bangkok scam
Inspired by despando's query about renting a girlfriend (https://forum.sex141.com/eforum/viewthread.php?tid=87106), I thought I'd write a brief cautionary tale.
Bangkok has been a prime international mongering destination for decades. It is also a place where men can be separated from their liquid assets--both biological and financial--in creative ways. I will not take space to elucidate and enemurate but I will document one current scam as far as I understand it.

This purports to be an agency called "BKK Escorts 4 You – Thai escort agency in Bangkok" that offers attractive courtesans at "Incalls per hour from ฿2,500 (US$ 70) and Outcalls per hour from ฿6,000 (US$ 168)." There's pretty pictures and promises. Go ahead, peep the pix.

The agency's legit and while they advertise on Telegram (the group is worth a look), bookings are made via LINE ID. This protocol is emphasized again and again by both the admin and users of the group because scammers target guys seeking services, get them to transfer money, then disappear.
Now I don't know for sure, but I suspect this agency is a platform for at least some of these scammers. They have a LINE QR code that doesn't work as it's truncated. Their pix are clearly stolen from TSG Sideline. And their prices are inflated because guess what: if you're going to steal, it's better to steal 6000 baht than 1500.
Why is this successful? You know why. Because we let our little heads do our big head thinking all too often.
