I like this subject, I often ask myself the same thing.
Have been married for over 25 years. Still in love with my wife, still have healthy sex at least once or twice a week. She is able to pleasure me. I am able to pleasure her. So why do i do this?
I guess for me I use it to fill in the gaps. When kids happened, obviously the sex dried up a bit, so I felt i needed to augment a bit. Then things picked up at home so backed off. As wife got to more menopausal age interest dried up a bit so again augmented.
Also my wife is not a big fan of blowjobs so 1) I dont get them much at home and 2) when I do she is just ok at them.
So all told I do it basically to augment my home sex life and fill in the gaps during the slow times, and also do do things that the wife usually wont do that often (or as well). | |
