Thanks for giving it a shot, but I'm sad that it didn't do that much for you.  For me, phenibut is nothing like coffee.  It actually has a very powerful sedative effect maybe 12 hours after I take it.  It doesn't make me sleepy before that, but when it comes time to sleep, the sleepy feelings sink me into a deep slumber.
