Yes tough.
Ages ago, sneaking around in Wanchai before 11:00am (earliest Thai massages opening),
I looked at the database for the ..."24H".
Yes, FAIL.
They are perfectly OUT OF ORDER ...sleeping.
The 24H indicates in fact ..."bang any time at night"...after "nests" are closed ...to walk-in!
Doors of flats in "nests" close ~midnight, subject to the decision of the "leader" of the flat,
then NO walk-in, only bookings and
... some guys  given access codes by some ladies to just walk-in anytime, long after make-up is gone
for those ladies who do NOT generally do overnight but are live-in
(you do not want to disturb a working lady in the middle of the night knocking loudly at her door = bad manners).
So the 24H shops in Wanchai were typically for:
* Bad night in bars, not one decent to tow to hotel, needs emergency banging before going home to sleep like satisfied baby.
Again, some just don't mind giving you (once they are used to you) the code of the building so that you really come anytime,
even when they are snoozing, could miss phone calls and a business opportunity. I had such an emergency back-up shop in Lockhart Road. | |
