I've tried this in a couple of hotels (most recently in Ramada Hotel near Jordan). Although the lifts need keycards, you can ask the girl to tell the reception which room you're in, and what your last name is. Then the hotel will gladly let her in.

Not sure if that fits in with your "privacy" concern, but if your main concern is just not showing your face, then I think most hotels can allow access as long as they have your room number and last name?
