A 48-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday morning after punching a 45-year-old prostitute and knocking three teeth out of her mouth over HK$4,000 payment in Kwun Tong.
The incident which took place in a flat on Mut Wah Street was reported to police at 9.54am this morning by the injured prostitute surnamed Wan.
She told officers that after the sex, she and the client started an argument over the HK$4,000 payment, and the man threw a punch right at Wan's face and struck three teeth off her mouth. The man soon fled the scene after throwing the punch.
Wan, carrying her loosened teeth, was sent to a hospital as officers reached the Kwun Tong flat.
Officers seized a home return permit at the scene, which the client suspectedly left behind when leaving. After investigation, police arrested a 48-year-old man surnamed Li for assault causing actual bodily harm around 11am in Tseung Kwan O.
He has been remanded for questioning, and the case is now handled by the Kwun Tong district crime investigation team.
According to sources, Li visited the flat on Monday (Jan 17) night and stayed there until this morning when the prostitute asked Li to pay her HK$4,000. Yet, Li believed Wan was charging him too much, and the two started a dispute where Li punched Wan and fled the scene. | |
