PEP needs to be taken within 24 hours after exposure to have a significant chance of helping. By the 48 hour mark it's basically a lost cause. The data is sketchy as you can imagine, but unless you happen to have the drug on hand, it's not something to ever rely on.

That all being said, if we assume she is HIV positive, then your chances of contracting it are less than 10% by some estimates. The girl is far more likely to be infected than the guy.

For those who accidentally break a condom or for some reason want to risk it, one thing you can do to decrease your chances of contracting HIV and other STIs is by washing your penis thoroughly with soap immediately after exposure, doubly so if you're uncircumcised.
