On this planet, everyone has at least one doppelgänger or physical double. The resemblance
is typically 85% or better but close enough to make someone who knows you very well to take
a second or third look.
To date, I have 6 known doubles [doppelgängers] worldwide. I have met 3* of them. The
unexpected encounters with 2 were interesting as it was similar to meeting an identical twin.
During the following discussion, I learned we had similar dietary preferences, personal habits and
so forth. With 1 of the 2 doubles met, we had virtually identical childhood trauma skin scars and
in similar locations. For the third double, it was a meeting by sheer luck with the double's ex-girlfriend
who was absolutely convinced I was her ex-boyfriend until we kissed which was an unfortunate
"instant give-a-way." From time to time, we still meet for a coffee and chat wherein she comments
she still cannot tell a difference by physical appearance.
In HKG, there is a famous news reporter who has a doppelgänger living in Singapore. BBC News had
a front page photo of him which prompted my telephoning the HKG friend. He knew about his
SNG doppelgänger but has never met him.
*The other 3 were discovered by my business or personal contacts who had a lucky encounter
with them whilst thinking they were speaking to me.
