Okay guys... so... this experience sounded so amazing that I tried to learn more about it. There’s a lot of bad news for most of us however.
So... first of all... if you’re not Asian, you have a good chance to get turned down at the door, even for a supposed foreigner-friendly place. However, a place that turns you down one time might not half a day later. If you ARE Asian, but not Korean, you still have a chance to be rejected but you’re more likely to get on than not.
Secondly, this is supposedly a ‘club style’ option... if you’re not Asian, this isn’t on the menu for you. You can still get one on one service, but no club style. If you’re Asian, you have a shot at club style but sometimes it’s not an option. It’s a Korean Anna specialty, several of them appear to have it, but being Korean, or at least being able to pass for one, appears to be a requirement.
On the plus side... if you can pass for a possible Korean, you can claim to have been born and raised out of the country, and you can probably still get it. You’ll probably need a minimum amount of Korean, but from what I’ve seen it seems to work at least sometimes. I’ll report if I get a chance next time I go to Korea. I’ve never had a chance to try one of these places. | |
