IME with Japan (1999-2004 or thereabouts), you are a gaijin with game, you will be treated like the king. Whatever you want.

Also in my experience wirh Japan...you really have to play the game. That means, you speak as much Nihongo as possible, you wear a suit to the venue or at least dress sharp casual. You are unfailingly polite to everyone, even when they tell you no.

There was this place called Eden No Sono...all full GFE Playboy quality Latina hotties. Got turned down in Japanese, English and Spanish! Management actually did apologize to me, saying they didn't make the rules.

Tokyo is more open now to foreigners than it used to be. The current generation of Yakuza is more worldly, more practical, more tolerant and last but not least, they learned their lesson from 20 years ago when the Triads kicked their ass and literally took Kabukicho away from them over the discrimination issue. I may get back there one of these days...and if I do it will be to bang some JAV starlets. And check out this place
