HK with the crazy stuff
Hi there,
Just had a chat with a WG who travels around the country for periods of time. She use to go to HK, but now with the protest she no longer goes. Last time she went, she wasn't getting much business as the protest on/off was near her hotel. The metro nearby was also shutdown. She was too afraid of going outside so was in a pretty bad mood all the time. (imagine being locked in a room for like 3 month) She also had instant noodle for dinner several times a week, cause all the restaurant nearby was closed. Some of the customers was apparently also very rough with her. I guess shitty attitude spread all around.
Just checking is other have similar experience and confirm this? I am heading to HK for business at the end of the month. If i can get some good Karma/accepts, will update with some on the ground situation. | |

A walk-up WG also told me that business is terrible, especially on days where transportation is disrupted. |
