In the spirit of investigation, I had a walk and few drinks around Wan Chai yesterday afternoon Sunday - say 12-4pm.
While the streets seemed a bit quiet:
Churchills/Queen Vic - as normal full
Makati - as normal full (was the most banging with girls)
Bar 109 - quiet which is normal for that time
Players - about half full
Taboo - about half full
Sparks - as normal full
Neptunes - pretty full
From what i heard from others after I left, around 5pm the protesters started walking peacefully. across Lockhart Rd on Luard Rd before turning left towards the Police HQ. Seemingly this didn't cause a mass exodus from the people already out in the bars.
Not sure what happened when it kicked off later | |
