Shanghai - Status of Manhattan
Anyone know if Manhattan closed down or not? There was a recent post in the mainland China section that said the crackdowns are coming to an end. However, a buddy of mine just told me a couple days ago Manhattan shut down. I’ve been traveling overseas the last few weeks so not sure what’s going on there.
Last went by there in mid-May with a Japanese colleague visiting town and wanted to check it out. It was dead, uniform PSB patrolling in the bar and any girls that looked Vietnamese being turned away at the door. Only two Russians inside. Rest were single guys sipping on their beers reminiscing about the good ol days (me included).
That was the last time I went by there. | |
