I haven’t been back in the Toronto area for a few years and last time I was here, I had a quite memorable encounter with a 19 year-old blonde Asian spinner from Backpage (when it was still a thing). I was eager to get started again so when my flight landed in Toronto from Shanghai around 7:30 pm, I was already browsing through Leolist while waiting for my bags at baggage claim. I didn’t realize I was about to have another memorable encounter here except for all the wrong reasons. Texted the number while I picked up my rental from the terminal parking garage and got an instant reply with the menu/prices and address. Headed straight over to the location provided in the west end of the GTA.
When I arrived, I was instructed to go through the side entrance of a newly developed condo complex. Knocked on the unit door and definitely not the girl in the ad opened the door. Thought maybe she was just the mamasan or the person opening the door but looking around inside, there was no one else. Being Asian looking, when she first saw me, she started speaking to me in Mandarin...so not Japanese.
