Three nights in Pattaya
I wanted to get out of Bangkok for a short while so I decided on a quick trip to Pattaya, it has been a while, via public transport. I take the BTS to Ekkamai station and get to the bus station.
This was a Wednesday and I show up at 3:20pm, next available bus was for 4:20pm. Bus Departs on time, 4:50pm brief stop at Bang Na depot. 4:55 enter motorway. 5:05 pass southern edge of BKK. 5:35 Chonburi toll Plaza 5:40pm 361 bypass. 5:47 a bit of traffic. 6pm enter highway 7, 6:27 merge to highway 36, Two stops in nakluea, 6:50pm arrive north Pattaya station. So all in all, about 2.5 hours and 124 baht to cover 140km, not bad. The customers were a mix of Thai, Chinese, and Farang.
After getting to the north Pattaya bus station it is always a bit of a cluster-f***. I wanted to get to my hotel, the Baywalk residence near Beach Road.
The Songtheaw bus wanted 50 baht but would clearly take a while to fill up, motorcycle wanted 100 baht. Screw that, I crossed the street to the motorcycle stand and go it for 70 baht.
Hit up Walking street:
Happy Hour at Baccara and Happy Gogo both have 65 baht draft beers, hundreds of quality dancers OMG, quite stunning actually.
Then hit up Sensations 947, lek, OMG is it the same one from a few years ago? Got slightly chubbier, but OMG, face is like an elegant model now. Bought her a few drinks to say hi.
At this point kind of get tired of the over-touristy Walking street scene so I wander over to Soi LK Metro:
I then hit up Pattayasaisong 13 (on the way to Soi LK) for the outdoor beer bars there. Unfortunately it was very average, not much talent
Walking into the Soi LK area, Sugar sugar Gogo is still fun, 1500 barfine till midnight though, then drop to 1000 barfine. It has always fascinated me how the barfines are much higher in Pattaya than Bangkok, but the drink and accommodation prices are much less.
I am very happy kebab prices have come down to 70 baht, this is one of my favorite late night snacks and they have always been about 100 baht in Pattaya which always frustrated me as it is only 60 baht in Bangkok. Cappone's pizza on Pattayasaisong 13 70 baht pizza slice not bad. Name might be New York Pizza now.
Showgirls gogo talent a bit lackluster at 11pm.
The clientele is very different between Soi Lk and Walking street. Soi LK is mostly a farang hangout and walking Street is mostly Asians.
Pappagayo, which is on Pattayasaison 13, on the way to Soi LK had abysmal talent at 1am. Filled with lots of drunk annoying customers.
Thursday 2PM, check out Soi Chalermphrakiat and Soi Lengkee. Note can walk through the avenue and use the air-conditioned food court there, good prices. There is a good massage called Juney near the beginning. Saw a cute girl so I picked her, her name is Dao, very cute girl, 24yo. The oil massage was 200 baht, and she soon asked if I wanted a special service. I asked for a HJ, she was disappointed and said she wanted FJ. No negotiation, I just grabbed her and started touching her everywhere getting us both hot and bothered. It was quite thrilling to be doing her in every position in a small partition with just a curtain for a door, and being able to hear everything going on outside. There was no price discussion and I gave her 1,500 baht after I was finished. I have a feeling I could have paid her 1,000 baht and she would have been happy but I was still used to Bangkok pricing :-D
Head over to North Pattaya on the baht bus:
7pm soi6 was happening but not many lookers.
So have a some dinner and head back to walking street.
11pm dollhouse pretty good talent, not too busy, good music volume, 45 absolute stunner

Friday I am about to head home to Bangkok, but I hop into Terminal 21 shopping mall before lunch and am blown away by how large and pleasant it is. For those who have been to Terminal 21 mall in Bangkok, imagine something four times larger, and with two airplanes outside and a fake runway. Really cool. I decided then and there it would take another day to explore this section of town so I hopped onto agoda.com to find another night hotel.
I booked Sabai resort, a good deal for $25 USD in North pattaya, there are three pools so keeps it quiet. The room was quite a ways from the lobby but they took me in on a golf cart. This is not a luxury hotel, but I had a completely massive 50sqm (approx 500 sq ft) room for $25USD with a relaxing swimming pool, I am not going to complain! Wi-Fi completely sucks though.
Sabai House soapy massage next door to the hotel so I of course need to check it out. It's one of those types of soapy with the blow-up rubber mattress service. Have not seen one of those for a while so I had to try. Pricing was around 2,000 - 2,400 baht depending on the girl. I picked a 2,400 baht spinner, 62, her name is Hong. Excellent service, but only recommend for people who like skinny girls with small boobs. That being said, out of the 60 or-so girls there late afternoon, I would only consider doing 3 of them. Hong was very nice and cleaned me in the tub, then did a thorough soapy massage with me lying on the rubber mat. The session on the bed was very passionate as I was the only customer she had that day, and she was thrilled I picked her. She thanked me for coming and asked me to visit her again, if she is still there I would def repeat!
After the great session at Sabai House, I head across the street to Atlantic bar for some drinks. It has a nice party atmosphere but also chill, friendly staff. Great place to knock back a few drinks and chat with the friendly staff and customers.
On Saturday it was time to get back to Bangkok, I got to the North Pattaya bus station at about 11:45, next bus on sale was for 13:50. Holy crap. But I don't care, it's Thailand, so I pull up google maps, find a foot massage nearby, and go for a foot massage nearby while I waited.
Get back to the bus station, look at my ticket and see I have seat 38. Apparently this is the worst seat on the bus, terrible, next to toilet.
Unlike Bangkok, they don't seem to allow seat assignments in Pattaya, you just get the next ticket they hand you. Strategy may be to wait for next bus if there is a long line and let people in front of you go first until that bus gets full and they start selling the next one. Note there are no advance bookings. Bus Departs on time and heads straight to highway 7 and then exits on 361. 15:35 passes homepro in Bangna. 15:55 it arrives Udom Suk BTS where I am happy to get off early and stop smelling the toilet! | |
