I am far from an expert but I've read through quite a bit. There are a few posts about agents, maybe search on "agent" and read a few posts about who are reliable. Also there are some valuable articles under FAQ etc.
I get the impression, and I haven't called one, that when you call some of these numbers with no address specifics, and I presume all hotel girls, that you reach an agent and not the girl to sort things out. To get where and when and all that.
Otherwise for complete newbie like I was not long ago, I still recommend KP for it being organized and not expensive or some of the easy walkups where there are recent articles on who's been good, bad and mediocre.
On Temple Street where there are streetwalkers aplenty I have not been asked once to try one out but the Thai nests, not a problem. | |
