@Queen,
I assume you have never read the Forum Guidelines and there are positive reasons why we use the Rating Button for short comments or questions:
1. It shows appreciation to the OP for the time they have taken to write a report which are the bloodline of this Forum as opposed to inane 1 liners.
2. If you ask a question in Rating, the OP gets a PM with the comment or question so there is more chance to get an answer to your question.
3. With these PMs, it saves the OP time if he has multiple questions to answer and can easily to if in 1 reply to multiple questions
The negative reasons of not using the Rating button for 1 liners:
1. This floods a thread which causes more work for the volunteer Mods to follow the Forum guidelines (which by the way are set out mainly by the site Admin who hosts the Forum for us for free IF we follow the Forum Guidelines),
2. Bumps a thread so bros will waste their time reopening a thread to see an inane 1 liner.
3. Add additional maintenance to the Forum which adds capacity requirements for the Admin.
Guess what, causing someone more work will piss them off.......like a Mod such as PorkChops.
Open discussions are welcome in the Mongering Talk and The Lounge sections but we keep Report threads to OP, OPs replies to questions in the Ratings, significant further information in Replies.
As in 2 years you have never written a Report or started a thread on any topic, I suggest you read the Forum Guidelines and start contributing. Then you are entitled to suggest to bros your opinion on how the Forum should be run. If you are truly Singaporean, you should understand the benefit of following rules.
Above is long reply, below is short reply.
Wind your fkn neck in and write a Report.
