[Japan][Fukuoka] Super clear instructions on foreign-friendly soaplands
Okay, so Japan is probably a challenge for most non-Japanese speakers. You've been turned away from every place except the seediest of soaplands. You get the dregs of what's on offer even if you're allowed. But, I've got great news for you:
Fukuoka has a couple blocks of foreign friendly soaplands, all concentrated in one place.
I blew about $2000 USD over a few days to bring you this intel.
Take a look at the attached map picture. Basically, if you look for Nakasu, and then go south of the main road (Kokutai Road) to the spit of land between two canals, it's wall-to-wall foreign-friendly soaplands. Don't waste your time in Nakasu proper as it's all hostess bars and spending money for girls to talk to you is a waste of time, I think.
Some observations:
- Price varies, but ranges from 15,000-30,000 for one hour. I don't have enough data to generalize, but it doesn't seem like you get substantially more for more money. That said, your room may be less mildewy.
- It's not like delivery health or something where you don't really know what you're going to get. You're going to get sex.
- Quality seems to decline as the night goes on. I guess the young girls finish with school, work a bit, then go home. Old, fat ones stay later.
- There's a little kiosk in the middle of this area with a little old lady who will take you around to different places. I feel like she's a clearinghouse for several stores. She took me to one place and then finally brought me to one called "Plagir" (player?), which I got to have a fun little first rendezvous.
- Price may go down towards the end of the night. Closing time for this area by law is 00:00, so they will put out little laminated signs saying 30 minutes for 7500 or something like that.
- Girls are uniformly fresh without the smell of Trichomonas or Gardnerella. That doesn't mean they're clean. Use a condom.
- Most places have hand-held English to Japanese communicators that allow you to speak into it and it will translate into the other language's text. Google translate and Bing translate are also good for this and don't require special tech other than a smart phone.
- You're not supposed to ask girls out and you likely wouldn't get them to agree anyway. But, if you hit it off, make sure you have LINE as a chat tool since most people use that in Japan.
- If the touters seem shady, they're probably going to try and screw you with a fat girl. For this, I'd avoid ACE (has a sign with an ace of spades) and Sexy Paradise 3.
- If you have an open and friendly attitude and ask for a card afterwards, you may be given a discount card or a repeat visitor card.
- If the card has an apparently older woman (older than 20, say) you may be dealing with a heavily photoshopped person.
- There is no apparent price difference between young, old, star performer student or workaday prostitute. Get what you want. The price is the same. You may get slightly better service from older ones, if your dick can handle the age/fat/etc. Fat Japanese women are still generally better than Western women.
- The touters outside will hail you to come check out their girls. Go check them out. My extrapolation is that women and spiffier dressed men seem to be less likely to mislead you. If they dress like a thug, caveat emptor. Let the buyer beware.
Process:
The guy will show you a few cards with girls on them. Pictures may be slightly deceptive as they're heavily glamorized. You pick one. He may suggest one more than others. If you see another you like more, point to it and say "Ko-ray" (that's phonetic), it means "this one". He may agree or may still insist on another one. It's not clear to me if it means the others are busy, not available or he doesn't want to give you the other ones, but if you're not keen, walk way. That said, for 4/7 tries, I got something roughly aligned with what was on the card. One time I got significantly more (the picture looked like white trash, but was a heavily tatted up Japanese girl with great tits), once I got a slightly retarded slightly chubby girl (it felt uncomfortable, so no sex) and once I got a fat girl with a good attitude. Agree on the course (time) and pay up front. Selecting a girl specifically costs 1000-3000 more, if you take what's offered, you get list price. Price for one hour on average is about 20,000.
You may get told some rules (no fighting?) and you may get asked if "condom is okay". You say yes. If you get asked "nihongo something something something" you respond by making the hand gesture for "a little bit" and say "chō-tō" (long o sound)...a little bit. He will say okay.
He will then escort you to a small waiting room where you sit on pleather couch waiting for the girl to run the bath upstairs. When the bath has been run, he comes back and tells you "OK". This may take 5-10 minutes. Don't worry. He will ask you to walk up some stairs where on the first landing you will run into your girl.
She will take you to the room. Remove your shoes in the very small area inside the doorway. Take off your clothes. She will take of her clothes as well. You will be invited to sit on a stool that leaves your balls and asshole exposed and she will wash you down then ask you to hop in the tub. She will probably give you a disposable toothbrush. Brush your teeth while in the tub and spit over the side on to the floor. She will hose it down with the shower. Wait in the tub while she finishes up and then she'll give you the high sign to head to the bed. There is an inflatable bed for nuru massage type stuff, but it was never offered to me and i wasn't interested.
From there, do whatever you want to do. Lay back and enjoy. Chat, give her a massage, get straight to the main event. Whatever.
Be aware that you may be offered sex without a condom. I do not endorse or suggest you do this.
Slightly before time is up, the phone in the room will buzz. Get up and take a shower (shower is widely understood, but is probably better pronounced 'shao - wa') or add extra time (remember it's not cheap, so you're talking about 10,000-15,000)
